Nessa Tax & Accounting is led by founder Shamim Iqbal, EA. Mr. Iqbal immigrated to this country in 1997 with ambition and goals. With his dedication, Mr. Iqbal graduated with his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the State University of New York and a Master’s Degree in accounting with concentration in taxation from Strayer University. He is also a Certified Tax Coach and Enrolled agent admitted to practice before the IRS.

Mr. Iqbal has over 14 years of experience in diverse industries including working with prestigious CPA and telecommunication firms. This has provided him with extensive knowledge and experience in accounting, taxation, and project management. He possesses extraordinary knowledge of individual and business tax law. Mr. Iqbal is devoted to building long-lasting and effective relationships with business partners and individuals with his expertise.

Aside from his passion of helping his clients achieve their financial goals, Mr. Iqbal also has a passion for sports, traveling and music. As a former New York resident, Mr. Iqbal is a fan of the NY Knicks and the NY Giants. Additionally, he loves to step out of his comfort zone and travel to new destinations to learn about new cultures and taste traditional cuisines. On his down time, you can also find Mr. Iqbal playing the drums which has been a self-taught passion for the last 20 years.
